Please understand that this form MUST be completed by your child's previous school(s) before you can pick up the entire enrollment packet.

Blended Learning:
The Harper Woods School District has implemented a system where teachers are able to connect to technology and personalized learning to a strong and focused lesson design. The District has created personalized learning environment through the following academic methods:

Virtual Learning:
Under Section 5-O-D office of MDE the Harper Woods School District will allow students to enroll in up to two virtual courses during an academic term, semester, or trimester. A pupil may enroll in more than two virtual courses if:
- The district has determined that it is in the best interest of the pupil
- The pupil agrees with the recommendation of the districts
- Embedded instructional designs
- The district, in collaboration with the pupil, has developed an education development plan, in a form and manner specified by the Department, which is kept on file by the district

Dual Enrollment:
Dual enrollment is the act of being enrolled in two different academic institutions at once. For high school students, this typically means being enrolled simultaneously in their local high school and a nearby college institution. The most significant benefit of dual enrollment is that students can take steps toward earning their high school diploma and their college diploma at the same time.
