In order to attend school in The School District of the City of Harper Woods, you must reside within district boundaries unless you have been selected throught the school-of-choice process. The school system verifies residency for all new enrollees by reviewing required documentation.

To register your child, you may obtain an enrollment forms packet for Beacon Elementary, Tyrone Elementary, Middle School and Secondary School from the Secondary School Student Service Center or you can print the forms below. Please be aware that the enrollment process may take up to a week to complete.

No student is considered enrolled in the district until residency requirements have been satisfied and an enrollment appointment has been attended. For more information call 313-245-3037. Throughout the year, when necessary and where needed, the school system will also verify the residency of the student(s) and/or parent/guardian by making a home visit. Students who are found not to be residing in the district will be excluded.
Enrollment information deemed fraudulent will result in termination of enrollment from the City of Harper Woods School District, a tuition bill and/or referral to the prosecutor’s office for criminal prosecution for perjury or related offenses.
