The information on this page will help you enroll your children in the Harper Woods School District. Harper Woods is not a "School-of-Choice" district.
New Student Enrollment
In order to attend school in The School District of the City of Harper Woods, you must reside within district boundaries unless you have been selected throught the school-of-choice process. Click here to view school district map.
The school system verifies residency for all new enrollees by reviewing required documentation.
To register your child, click on “Residency Requirement” and "enrollment packet instructions" links on right-hand side of this screen or you may obtain an enrollment forms packet for Beacon Elementary, Tyrone Elementary, Middle School and Secondary School from the Secondary School Student Service Center.
No student is considered enrolled in the district until residency requirements have been satisfied and an enrollment appointment has been attended.

Throughout the year, when necessary and where needed, the school system will also verify the residency of the student(s) and/or parent/guardian by making a home visit. Students who are found not to be residing in the district will be excluded.
Enrollment information deemed fraudulent will result in termination of enrollment from the City of Harper Woods School District, a tuition bill and/or referral to the prosecutor’s office for criminal prosecution for perjury or related offenses.
