School District of the City of Harper Woods Tuition Resolution

Under the authority of MCL 380.1401, be it resolved that the Board of Education of the City of Harper Woods School District hereby establishes tuition rates for non-residents for the 2009-2010 school year.

In accordance with paragraph (2) of the aforementioned statute the tuition for pupils in grades K-6 shall be $14,085.86.

In accordance with paragraph (3) of the aforementioned statute the tuition for pupils in grades 7-12 shall be $14,578.87.

Be it further resolved, that the Board of Education directs the administration to collect said tuition from the parents/guardian of all students who were unlawfully enrolled during the 2009-2010 school year.

The undersigned duly qualified and acting Secretary of the Board of Education of the School District of the City of Harper Woods, Michigan hereby certifies that the foregoing is a true and complete copy of a resolution adopted by the Board at a Regular meeting held on October 20, 2009, the original of which resolution is a part of the Board’s minutes, and further certifies that notice of the meeting was given to the public under the Open Meetings Act, 1976 PA 267, as amended.
